ComPoLyX V0.5.1 has been released! Print E-mail

It is mainly a bugfix release containing the following improvements:

  • New failure mode measures: Reserve Factor and Margin of Safety.ComPoLyX
  • PCOMPG definitions in NASTRAN BDF files are now read correctly . The global plies are maintained within ComPoLyX and can be accessed for post-processing.
  • NASTRAN BDF files stored in the large format (16 character wide fields) are now handled correctly.
  • For NASTRAN F06 files, subcase and load factor can now be specified to choose the desired solution.
  • Nodal results loading has been improved for all formats to handle all kind of possible cases correctly (nodes missing, nodal results missing, components missing...).
  • Thanks to the new ComPoLyX.py start script, the installation does not depend on any global environment variables anymore.
  • From ComPoLyX 0.5.1 on, it will be possible to have multiple versions of ComPoLyX installed.
